"Due to popular demand" GOUGH Advocates has set up an Employment Law Department under the control of Charles Coleman and with input from Alan Gough.

Employment law has risen to a place of prominence in the commercial world with no business being immune from the consequences of falling foul of the complex issues and procedures involved.  Consequences that can cost a business dearly in hard cash.

We have already handled several large cases from both the employee but, more often, the Employer's perspective.

The common thread that runs through these matters is the need to keep the employer/employee contract up to date in the light of the many changes in the law.  Good paperwork saves money in the long run.

Charles is advising a significant Department of Government on its Employment Law issues and will be making a presentation to clients in the near future on the more important issues involved.

If ever there was a case of "prevention is better than cure" then this area of law is it.
