PRESS RELEASE - Gough Advocates Limited to split business into two new firms
The partners of Gough Advocates Limited (GAL) have announced that as of 1st May 2012 GAL will cease trading and that the business will be transferred in to two new companies.
Founding Director, Alan Gough will be taking the litigation area of the business and forming a new litigation practice called “Gough Law”.
Managing Director, Paul Kerruish will be taking the Corporate, Commercial, Private Client and Property arms of the business and forming a new private client and commercial practice called “Kerruish Law & Trust” which will incorporate the existing fiduciary services company Gough Fiduciary LLC which will be rebranded Kerruish Trust.
Continuity of service will be provided to all existing clients by the newly formed companies and each Director will be taking their existing legal and support teams with them in to their new ventures. Both companies will continue to operate within their respective floors at their existing offices at Anglo International House.
A spokesperson for GAL explained;
"Both directors had recognised the increasing trend towards specialisation in different areas of the Law and concluded that clients would be better served by a division of the two main areas of the business. As a result, the decision to split the firm is a joint one and each director wishes the other well for the future."
